    Your photos never leave your device. The AI model and its engine are downloaded once, from Hugging Face and jsDelivr.

    How to use it

    2. 2Keep the Standard model, or choose High quality for hair and fine detail if your browser supports it.
    3. 3Press “Remove background”, compare before and after, and download.

    Questions, answered

    Are my photos uploaded?
    No. The AI model is downloaded once to your browser and runs on your device; your photos never reach a server.
    Why is the first run slower?
    The first time, your browser downloads the AI model. After that it is cached, and later photos start right away.
    What is the High quality model?
    A larger model with cleaner edges on hair and fine detail. It needs WebGPU, available in recent Chrome and Edge on desktop.
